Maggie

Solid as can be, Maggie is a spunky little ranch girl that makes me smile! Maggie has been the perfect hop-on-and-go horse for me this year because she is broke and gentle, but responsive and plucky. I’ve enjoyed using her to gather and trail cows, run horses, lead guest trail rides and sneak away for an occasional solo escape. She is good on her feet and forward thinking without being wound up. I’ve let our experienced guests borrow her and she has given them the same willing ride she always gives me. One of my favorite laughs with Maggie included riding through the pivot sprinklers as they sprayed cold water onto the field. She tucked her ears, scrunched her eyes and went right through.
